Biographical/Historical Information

Lindsey Decker was an abstract painter and sculptor. He taught sculpture and drawing at Michigan State University beginning in 1950. From 1957 to 1959 Lindsey Decker lived and worked in Italy. His artworks are included in the collections of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Detroit Institute of Arts among other institutions.
