Biographical/Historical Information

Adolf Dehn was an artist who was mostly famous for his lithography. He participated in various movements in American art, such as regionalism, social realism, and caricature. A two-time recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship, he was known for both his technical skills and his high-spirited, droll depictions of human frailties.
