Biographical/Historical Information
Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler was an art collector from Germany, and one of the most notable art dealers in France during the 20th century. He became prominent as an art gallery owner in Paris starting in 1907 and was among the first champions of Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and the Cubist movement in art.
