Biographical/Historical Information
In 1941, Reva Urban moved to New York and studied at the Art Students League of New York on a Carnegie scholarship. She created many paintings and abstract mixed compositions using oil painting on layered wooden discs. She also worked as a graphic artist and created numerous lithographs. Her pictures were colorful and later were influenced by the Pop Art movement.
