Biographical/Historical Information

Walter (Walther) Ernst Zeising was born in Leipzig in 1876. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Leipzig and at the Munich Academy. He spent some years studying and working as an illustrator in Paris and Brittany before returning to Dresden in 1910. Zeising died in Dresden in 1933.
