Audio Recordings Available for Listening
The LBI holds scores (pun intended) of books and archival collections, devoted to music and musicians. In addition, there is also “real music” to be found and heard, be it audio recordings on old-fashioned shellac records or more time appropriate Contact Discs.
Also mentioned is the Erwin Hirsch collection, AR 11478 with traditional cantorial synagogue music at the German Jewish congregation Habonim.
A search in DigiBaeck offers an array of other music recordings.
