Help LBI keep the past present with a financial donation or by contributing historical materials.
On June 24, 2018, middle and high school teachers from across the United States participated in a workshop led by LBI staff at Columbia University. Part of an education conference convened by the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, the workshop was aimed at teachers who cover the Holocaust as part of their state’s curriculum. With help from Małgorzata Bakalarz-Duverger, the LBI’s education coordinator, the teachers worked together to develop lesson plans using the primary documents published as part of the “1938Projekt.”
Some of their work, as well as proposals submitted by other educators throughout 2018, will be published on the 1938Projekt website.
