Synopses of Collections at LBI
For authors invited to participate in "Stolpertexte"
Below, you will find a selection of synopses of archival collections and memoirs at the Leo Baeck Institute, which we are providing as a starting point for your research. These synopses, prepared by Aubrey Pomerance and LBI Staff, describe a small selection of collections that are rich in detail, cover a diverse set of experiences, and many of which have not received attention from scholars or journalists. However, they are just a tiny subset of the tens of thousands of collections available at the Leo Baeck Institute. The LBI is delighted to receive proposals for "Stolpertexte" about any of these collections, or any other collection you may identify by searching the LBI website and catalogs.
