Shauna Bahssin

Shauna Rowan Bahssin joined the Leo Baeck Institute as Director of Development in February 2026, bringing nearly a decade of fundraising experience to the role. In her position, she oversees LBI’s overall advancement strategy, and serves as a partner to the supporters who champion the Institute in their annual giving, grantmaking, and gift plans.

Prior to LBI, Shauna advanced fundraising efforts and community-building in pre-eminent cultural organizations and academic research institutions, including New York’s Jewish Museum and University of Oxford. She holds a dual B.A. from Binghamton University in art history and English.
